Our History

In 1994, Kenny Mallick, a master plumber and gasfitter, created Mallick Plumbing and Heating, Inc. The company started out as a home-based business and Kenny hired his brother Michael and his father Ken Senior, called “Pops,” as his first employees. The business quickly became known for offering quality work at a fair price among the construction and remodeling industries. Over the years, the Mallick name has continued to be a sign of trust and quality craftsmanship in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area.

In 2010, Ken made the decision to separate the construction division from the service division and he established this operation as its own company. Thus, Mallick Mechanical Contractors, Inc. was incorporated. Ken Mallick and his staff remain committed to treating customers as they themselves would want to be treated. Mallick Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is able to out compete much larger companies because they hold true to this basic ethic.

As a company, we are proud that our revenues have grown to over $40 million, and that our employees have continued to approach each client with integrity and a willingness to serve attitude. We boast that Mallick people “do what they say they are going to do”. Due to our spirit to serve, Mallick Mechanical Contractors has received multiple recognitions as the “Mechanical Contractor of Choice” by peers within associated builders and contractor’s organizations.

Our commitment to making the community a better place to live, work, raise a family, and run a business has never wavered. Through the shared effort of employees, Mallick Mechanical Contractors gives back all year long to organizations including Junior Achievement, Toys for Tots, American Lung Association, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Boy Scouts of America, and sponsorship of numerous local kids sporting teams. Employees are encouraged to volunteer individually with their favorite organization.
