Our Safety Guidelines

At Mallick Mechanical Contractors, Inc., we keep a Safety Committee in place to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. In addition to this primary mission, the Safety Committee encourages employees to participate in the safety process for the betterment of all concerned. The committee consists of nine members; Human Resource Manager, two Mallick Mechanical managers, one Mallick Mechanical foreman, four Mallick Mechanical plumbers/pipe fitters, and one apprentice.

The personal safety and health of each employee of Mallick Mechanical and Mallick Plumbing & Heating is of primary importance. The prevention of occupationally-induced injuries and illnesses is our principal purpose. To the greatest degree possible, this Committee provides employees with a voice to management to ensure all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health are controlled and maintained to the highest standards.

Our Safety program provides complete safety training to all of our employees. Classes include confined space, CPR/First Aid, respiratory protection, ladder training, fall protection, accident investigation, lock out/tag out, OSHA 10-hour certification and crane awareness.

Mallick Mechanical in conjunction with the Safety Committee and all Employees are committed to four basic principles:

  1. Helping to formulate and disseminate policies, practices, and procedures that promote health and safety.
  2. Assisting management in the planning of action on occupational health and safety. This will include helping to set priorities to control hazards.
  3. Acting as a problem-solving group to help with the identification and control of hazards.
  4. Helping to resolve health and safety issues.
